Public Auction of Furniture and Equipment

Announcing a unique opportunity to purchase a piece of history from UK's Margaret I. King Library! Many of the furnishings from the old library building dating from the 1930's will be sold at public auction on Saturday, January 9, 1999. Included in the sale are desks, tables, chairs, card catalog cabinets, study carrels, microfilm/fiche equipment, computers, office furniture and accessories, and much, much more. The auction will be held at the Margaret I. King Library South on the University of Kentucky's central campus. The building will open for viewing of merchandise and registration at 8:00 a.m. EST. The auction will begin at 10:00 a.m. Limited reserved parking is available in the lot behind King Library South. Entrance for this lot is Gate 3 on Rose Street, heading South.

Please note: No credit cards or personal checks can be accepted. Payments must be made either in cash, certified or cashiers checks. Checks written on institutional accounts may be accepted, with proper identification of purchaser.
