Betty SellersBetty Sellers was a remarkable woman and a wonderful friend to many.  Her accomplishments were more than one can write in an obituary. Most of the genealogy community had the privilege of meeting Betty in the late 1990's when she got involved in internet genealogy.

Betty, along with other notable names, was among the first in the GenWeb community.
Betty started the Indiana Gen Web Project and served as its first State Coordinator and would also serve a later term as well. She also served as several county coordinators in Indiana as well as her home place of Trigg County, Kentucky and other neighboring counties including Christian County, Kentucky.  Betty wrote several genealogy books and helped so many with the vast records she kept and the wealth of knowledge she possessed.  She loved helping people in any way she could.

She, along with other friends in the genealogy community, held workshops teaching people how to do internet genealogy.

Her accomplishments extended beyond her genealogical works.  Betty loved to paint, quilt, crochet and knit. She loved her family and her friends, near and far.  She was a dear friend and she will be truly missed by all who knew her.
