Messer Cemetery

Located on top of mountain between J.S. Combs branch and Quicksand in head of what is called Messer Branch of Patton Fork of Quicksand. If going East on Route 80 Turn Left onto Route 1087 at what we call Softshell. Go north about ½ mile and the road will fork, at the fork turn right and then left at the next fork which will just be a few hundred feet. Follow this road up the mountain and at top of the mountain but just a few hundred feet down the other side will be the entrance to Miller Brothers Mine. Follow it and stop and tell the guards where you are going. It will be on the right and a little ridge. May be hard to spot but using these lat and long may help. Located at N37-24.329/W083-00.793 if you a GPS or have Street Atlas 4.0

Caretaker is Jackie Patrick who lives at the foot of the hill in Quicksand.

Appears to be several other tombs in the lower end where the tree stumps is. Could be more in the uncleaned portion of the cemetery as the old ones are near that section anyway
