Glasgow Republican, 1965
"Mrs. Betty Brockman. Services in Burkesville, 86 year old resident of 
Bakerton, died Wednesday night at the Cumberland County Hospital. She is 
survived by two sons, George Brockman, Jr., Hopkinsville and Lyle C. Brockman, 
New York City; a daughter, Mrs. Mae Simpson, of Michigan; a step-daughter, 
Mrs. J. A. Parrish, Bakerton; two brothers, Jim Cheatham, Glasgow, and Dick 
Cheatham, Jeffersonville; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Holiday, of Oklahoma. 
Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon in Burkesville with burial in 
the Columbia Cemetery."
