Petition For Letter Of Administration

"William H. Burnett was born Feb.5, 1843 in Kentucky to Cornelius S. and
Nancy "Wallace" Burnett. Wm. lived in Trigg Co. KY until 1866."
In the matter of the Estate of Wm. H. Burnett, deceased.
Comes now Cornelius T. Burnett and respectfully shows to the Court;
That Wm.H.Burnett died intestate on or about the 15th(16th) day of
November 1919(1917), at Clayton, Oklahoma, and at the time of his death
and for a number of years prior thereto he was a resident of Pushmataha
Co. OK.
That deceased left estate in said Pushmataha Co. OK, and the value and
character of said property, so far as known to your petitioner is as
follows, to-wit; Approximately $320.00 in cash on deposit in the First
State Bank of Tuskahoma, OK. That the whole estate and effects for and
in respect of which letters of administration are hereby applied for, do
not probably exceed the sum of $320.00.
That the names, ages and residence of the heirs at law of the decedent,
so far as known to your petitioner are as follows:
Mrs. Ann Burnett, wife, 70 years of age, address unknown; John Burnett,
Son, 45 years of age, address unknown; Lonnie Burnett, Son, 35 years of
age, Vanoss, Oklahoma; Allie Burnett, Daughter, 40 years of age, address
unknown; Clarence Burnett, grandson, 15 years of age, Vanoss, Okla.
That due search and inquiry have been made to ascertain if said decedent
left any will and testament, but none has been found, and according to
the best knowledge, information and belief of your petitioner, said
decedent died intestate.
That you petitioner, Cornelius T. Burnett is a resident of Pushmataha
Co. Okla., having his address at Clayton, Okla. and is a brother of said
decedent, and is the next of kin of said decedent residing in said
county. Wherefore, your petitioner prays that a day of Court may be
appointed for hearing this petition; that due notice thereof be give
according to law, and that upon said hearing, and the proofs adduced,
letters of administration of said estate issie to your petitioner,
Cornelius T. Burnett
