Cave City (KY) Progress, Friday, Sept. 27, 1974, p. 2.
"Joseph D. Constant, 71, of Bonnieville, died Friday morning at his home after 
an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Ms. Mable Dawson Constant, 
Bonnieville; two daughters, Mrs Goldie Fields, Upton; Mrs Nancy Avery, 
Bonnieville; 6 grandchildren; a brother, Mark Constant, Route 2, Munfordville. 
Funeral services were conducted at 2 pm SUnday at Concord Baptist Church with 
the Reverand Earnest Bryant officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. 
The body rested in the chapel of Bolton Funeral Home in Upton until time for 
services."
