Richard B. Cox was born in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, on 9 October 1833, to 
James Cox and Mary Elizabeth Seaton, both born in Virginia.  Richard married 
Mary Robertson on 7 February 1857 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, and the 
pair had (at least) two children -- George R. Cox and Mollie Cox.  The 
individual identified in the death certificate as the informant is likely 
Richard's son George R. Cox.  Richard B. Cox is buried in the Union Star 
Cemetery, Union Star, Breckinridge County, Kentucky.
