OBIT: Mary E. Falls, 1998, Henderson Co

The following obit. was in the Princeton Daily Clarion Jan. 8, 1998.

Mary E. FALLS, 101, died at 8:35 p. m. 01-06-1998 at Fairway Nursing and
Rehabilition Center, Evansville.

She was born 06-01-1896 in Henderson Co., Ky.  She and her husband operated
C. W. Falls Grocery in Oatsville for many years.  She also worked at J. C.
Penny in Princeton.

Preceding her in death were her husband, C. W., in 1966; two sons, Richard
"Dick" in 1976 and Billie Dee in 1992; a grandson, Jeffery Scott Falls; her
parents, William PORTER and Mariah FREDERICK DAUGHTERY; a brother and a
sister.

Surviving are a daughter Lucille CHRISTMAS of Evansville; a son, Ray FALLS
of Ft. Branch; nine granddaughters, one grandson, 16 great-grandchildren,
six great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a. m. Friday, Jan 9 at Colvin Funeral
Home, Princeton, In., with the Rev. Tom Stiles officiating.  Burial will be
in Atkinson Chapel Cemetery, Oatsville.

Visitation is from 3 until 8 p m today at the Funeral Home.  Memorial
Contributions may be made to the Fort Branch Volunteer Department or to a
favorite charity.

In., Fort Branch and Princeton is in Gibson Co., In.
