Wornie Bailey (1916-2002)

Faithful To The End

Born on 11/11/16 in Magoffin County, Kentucky and a resident of Raceland, LA, Mr. Bailey died Saturday, November 23rd, 2002. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday November 30th at the Lockport Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife of sixty eight years, Lonnie Wireman Bailey; three sons, Grover Bailey and wife Marilyn; Beacher Bailey and wife, Geraldine; Homer Bailey and wife, Linda; two daughters, Jolene Walker and husband, Ronald; Pauline Crawley and husband, Patrick; Custodial sons, Ezra Wireman and wife, Lynn; John Wireman and wife, Enid; and Woody Wireman; one foster daughter, Patricia Spradlin; one brother, Ramey Bailey; five sisters, Christine Emmons, Josephine Bailey, Ida Fraley, Mertyl Emmons, and Dolly Wireman; 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Berry Bailey and Emma Joseph Bailey; one son Henry Bailey; two custodial sons, Roy Wireman and Walter Wireman; one foster son, Charles Spradlin; three brothers, Leonard Bailey, Jessie Willard Bailey, and Junior Bailey; four sisters, Lillie Workman, Betty Conley, Lola Miller, and Irene Conley.
Mr. Bailey was retired from Clark Equipment Co. of Jackson, Michigan and was a dedicated, loyal minister in the Lockport Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. Donations may be made to The Worldwide Organization of the Watchtower Society, New York, New York.
